Reinventing its core values of relaxed, uncomplicated yet sophisticated femininity, J.Jill's prototype design provided a sleek environment to showcase merchandise. Merchandise classifications are defined through separate alcoves, each containing a cohesive story aligning marketing collateral with compelling merchandising. Iconic brand elements were updated through a palate of warm and cool neutrals juxtaposed against varied textures. In my role, I led corporate leadership and stakeholders through the prototypical design process, collaborating with the external design firm, architects of record, overseeing & scheduling drawings including lighting and engineering design, and securing approvals. Leading internal approvals of all interior elements such as casework, FF&E, fixturing and visual merchandising elements, I also purchased, scheduled and coordinated warehousing. Frequent sight visits and responses during construction ensured design intent was functional and well executed.
